There are businesses that serve alcohol to people who are already drunk Those businesses can also be held accountable. These instances are known as “dramshop actions”. In these situations, we would generally file suit on these businesses and typically legal proceedings will be held against these establishments as a result of the establishment allowing an already intoxicated patron to leave its establishment and drive away.

Some of these businesses include bars, restaurants and liquor stores and these “dram shop” cases generally occur where restaurants and bars are most prevalent.
